Chief Operating Officer

Position Overview:
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee ITScybersecurity’s day-to-day operations and drive strategic initiatives to support company growth and scalability. As a member of the executive leadership team, the COO will align operational strategies with business goals, ensuring efficient resource allocation, compliance, and innovation. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with extensive experience in operations, technology, and process optimization, particularly within the technology or cybersecurity industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Operations Management:
    • Design and implement business strategies, operational plans, and procedures that align with ITScybersecurity’s mission and vision.
    • Oversee and optimize the company’s internal processes to enhance productivity and scalability.
    • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute long-term strategic goals.
  2. Team and Resource Management:
    • Ensure the effective allocation of resources, including personnel, infrastructure, and finances, to meet operational and client needs.
    • Work with department leaders to ensure cross-functional collaboration, particularly between technology, sales, and client services teams.
  3. Client Engagement and Delivery:
    • Ensure seamless delivery of BusinessGPT implementations and other cybersecurity solutions to clients, meeting project timelines and quality standards.
    • Maintain a customer-centric focus, ensuring all operations and services align with client needs and expectations.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Oversee regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with industry standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and FISMA.
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard operations and maintain security integrity.
  5. Performance Monitoring:
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
    • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement and drive decision-making.
  6. Business Development Support:
    • Support sales and business development efforts by ensuring operational readiness for new contracts and partnerships.
    • Represent ITScybersecurity at key industry events and forums as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Education and Certifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are highly desirable.
  2. Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in operational leadership roles, ideally within the technology, cybersecurity, or SaaS industry.
    • Proven ability to scale operations in a rapidly growing organization.
    • Familiarity with AI solutions, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards.
  3. Skills:
    • Exceptional strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and resources.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
